The NSF LEVEL UP AI Workshops, supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) as a part of the NSF LEVEL UP AI Project, bring together educators, researchers, and stakeholders to build a national consensus on how to expand and strengthen undergraduate AI education across the United States.
We invite applications from faculty at U.S. academic institutions (colleges and universities) who teach or design undergraduate AI courses (e.g., machine learning, NLP, ethics, and related areas), as well as from AI education leaders in industry and nonprofit organizations who are committed to expanding capacity in AI education.
These workshops will build on insights from the NSF LEVEL UP AI Roundtable Report, which we encourage all applicants to review in advance. Together, participants will work toward shared strategies across four core areas:
- AI Knowledge Areas and Pedagogy
- Infrastructure Challenges in AI Education
- Strategies to Increase Capacity in AI Education
- AI Education for All
For accepted guests, we will reimburse your travel expenses (providing you follow CRA’s Uniform Travel Policy).
