Deadline to apply: December 12, 2025.
The 2026 CRA Career Mentoring Workshop (CMW) will take place February 9-10, 2026 in Washington, D.C. The biennial workshop features expert-led panels, practical career guidance, and structured networking to help participants build connections and chart a successful research trajectory.
This year’s CMW will be co-located with the CRA Board of Directors Meeting, offering additional chances to connect with senior leaders. As in past years, small-group meetings with federal agency program officers are expected.
Most attendees are in their first or second year of their computing research career. The workshop, consisting of a series of panels, will likely be interspersed with opportunities to network with senior researchers and representatives from government agencies.
There is a registration fee for the workshop that covers onsite workshop costs (food, beverage, A/V, etc.). The registration fee is discounted for participants from CRA member units (e.g., department, school, lab, etc.). Attendees are responsible for their own hotel and travel costs.
